Founded in 2019 by Harri, We Are Hazza Theatre School grew out of our entertainment and events company, We Are Hazza. With a passion for theatre and performance, Harri set out to build a fun, friendly, and welcoming space while producing exciting, professional-level shows.

What began with just 13 students has since blossomed into a thriving community of more than 150 young performers each week. In January 2025, we made the decision to close our events company to focus fully on the Theatre School, creating even more opportunities for our students and productions.

We run weekly theatre, street dance, and show classes for ages 5–16, designed to be affordable and accessible. Unlike traditional theatre schools, we don’t enforce strict uniforms, exams, or competitions. Instead, we welcome students of all backgrounds and abilities, encouraging creativity, confidence, and a love of the stage.

Each week, students in our theatre and street dance classes work on exciting routines and performances that build towards our fully themed end-of-year showcase each summer. This isn’t just any show, it’s a chance for our young performers to take part in a full-scale production, complete with professional lighting, costumes, sets, and sound, giving them the unforgettable experience of performing on stage in some of the most prestigious theatres across the East Midlands.

Along the way, students not only develop their performance skills but also build confidence, teamwork, and creativity in a supportive and friendly environment.
Whether it’s their very first time on stage or they already have a love for performing, every child has the chance to shine.

Classes are just £6.50 per week, and your first class is completely FREE - the perfect opportunity to come along and try it out!

Our number one promise is that every child who walks through our doors will have fun. We believe theatre and performing should be an exciting, creative escape where students feel free to express themselves, build confidence, and discover their unique talents.

Our classes are designed not only to teach the many aspects of theatre (acting, singing, and dance) but also to nurture valuable life skills. From teamwork and communication to resilience and self-belief, what our students learn with us goes far beyond the stage.

We’re also passionate about building a supportive community where children can make lasting friendships and feel part of something special. Every student, no matter their background or experience, is welcomed into an environment where they can learn, grow, and most importantly - enjoy the journey

Harri, the founder of We Are Hazza Theatre School, has always been deeply passionate about the performing arts. From a young age, he appeared in a wide variety of shows, completed LAMDA exams and gained full marks in his drama GCSE & A-Levels, gaining valuable experience both on stage and behind the scenes. Over the years, he has directed and produced multiple full-scale productions, developing a love for creating inspiring theatre. In 2019, Harri founded the school with a simple vision: to make performing arts fun, friendly, and accessible, while still taking the craft seriously, without the pressures of strict exams or competitive environments.
