This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and inspires children to challenge the grown-ups will captivate audiences rooting for the "revolting children." Matilda, with her wit, intelligence, and special powers, is unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her kind schoolteacher, Miss Honey. Despite the mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who loves punishing children, Matilda's courage and cleverness may save the day. Filled with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda The Musical JR. is a joyous celebration of girl power. Both children and adults will be thrilled and delighted by the tale of this extraordinary girl with a vivid imagination.
Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical JR. is adapted from the full-length musical which was based on the book by Roald Dahl, and features a book by Dennis Kelly and music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.
