Do I have to audition?
No audition is required to attend our sessions. We are open to all abilities and welcome everyone! We may hold auditions in class for solos and specific parts in our show but these will always be optional for students.

Our 'show team' productions do operate on an audition basis only. All information for the audition process can be found on our show team page here.
How much is it?
Our Theatre classes and Street Dance are £6.50 per week and your first session is free - this doesn't mean you have to sign up for the full term if our classes aren't for you!

Our show team charge an over all, annual show fee which is an all inclusive cost covering rehearsals, scripts, licensing, costumes, set and anything else that may be involved - this fee will vary from each production. More information can be found on our show team page by clicking here for our current production information.
When do I pay?
Payments are to be made termly. You will be invoiced after your first session and then again at the beginning of each term for the upcoming sessions which can be paid via your online portal. You are not charged over school holidays for when we don't meet.
Different payment options apply for our show team.
Do I stay?
Our classes operate on a drop off basis only. This is due to our venue capacity and safeguarding policy. We have also found that students develop more and work better when left with our incredible team!
When do we arrive?
Class doors open on the dot to when your class starts. You will be emailed details regarding how our drop off and collection works when you sign up as this varies from venue to venue.
What are the additional fees?
The only additional fees you will face, in addition to your term/ class fees whilst being enrolled in our school are as followed:
School T-shirt required for our showcase (around £13.95)
Show Tickets
Show DVD/ Video (Optional)
Show participation fee - showcase only (around £10)
We have no hidden fees as we understand how expensive the performing arts industry can be!
What is a show fee?
This fee is a small contribution that will be invoiced a few months prior to our annual showcase and is required for your child to participate.
Unlike our show team productions, staging a showcase of this scale—with a large cast and increasing production costs due to the current cost of living crisis—requires significant resources.
This fee helps cover essential expenses such as theatre rental, technicians, production and licensing fees, costumes, set design, and more.
Without this support, we simply wouldn’t be able to bring the showcase to life!
Is there a uniform?
It is not mandatory for students to wear a specific uniform. All students must be in practical clothing that is easy to move in with long hair tied back. Uniform is available to order and details will be given out once you sign up. Our theatre T-Shirts are however required to purchase for all students to wear for our end of year showcase. Student who arrive in clothing that isn't practical or their hair isn't tied up, won't be able to participate in the session due to health and safety.

Already a student? You can order your uniform directly through your portal.
When is the show?
Our end of year showcase usually takes part in Summer. This will be confirmed for you on your first session and is available to view in your student hub. This is a full scale production in a professional theatre with set, lighting and costume. All students who are part of our theatre classes and street dance class take part in this.

Our Show teams musical usually takes place around Spring time.
Who are the teachers?
Our team of talented individuals are fully DBS checked, insured and we always have a first aider on site. Each class has 1 dedicated teacher with the assistant teacher rotating from week to week. We prioritise a strong bond with our students and feel it is important for them to know all members of staff. A lot of our teachers also work for our entertainment company so you may recognise some of them!
What is the difference between classes?
We currently offer three types of classes. Our Theatre Class, Street Dance Class and our Show Team. Our Theatre class covers all aspects of performing arts from singing, dancing and acting where as our Street dance class is full of energy focusing purely on street dance as they learn and choreograph a variety of routines. Our Show Team then operates on a yearly audition process as we create a full production musical. A full description of each class can be found here.
Will my child be involved in a show?
Yes, all students who are part of our theatre classes and street dance class, are involved in our huge end of year showcase at a professional theatre in the East Midlands! More information on this show and your child's involvement will be given in your welcome pack/ our student hub. No auditions are required (unless for solos and specific parts during class) and everyone part of our theatre classes and street dance class will be involved.

This show is completely separate to our 'show team' musical which operates on an audition basis only.
My child attend your classes, will they be cast in the show team?
Our show team auditions are entirely fair and impartial.
Selection is based solely on performance during the audition process, not on prior experience within our school. Participation in our school does not guarantee a place in the show team, as roles are awarded annually based on individual progress and merit demonstrated at the audition.
