Our West End Summer Intensive is a new, exciting 8-week programme for young performers who love musical theatre and want to develop their skills further. This course gives students the chance to experience what it’s like to learn and rehearse material inspired by West End shows in a focused and supportive environment with a few special guest teachers!

 

Across the 8 weeks, students will study and perform material from a diverse range of iconic productions: Six, Hamilton, Wicked, Grease, West Side Story, Heathers, Oliver! and Hairspray. Each week focuses on a different show, with students learning a routine inspired by the original choreography and staging, while exploring the unique style, storytelling, and performance quality required for each piece.

 

This intensive is designed to challenge performers both technically and artistically. Students will refine their dance technique, musicality, stamina, and versatility, while developing essential professional skills such as quick learning, adaptability, ensemble awareness, and performance discipline. Emphasis is placed on precision, consistency, and delivering work to a high professional standard.

 

Working in a focused and supportive environment, participants will gain valuable insight into the realities of professional musical theatre training, building confidence and resilience.
